About My Blog

I watch a lot of television shows and movies and tv and then i play video games on the internet. I work from home and I am handicapped so I watch a lot of shit. I figure, why not start my ow blog? How many times have I wondered wether or not to go rent a movie but didn't know what to rent? Maybe if I had read someones movie blog I would know what I want to watch tonight. Well, Im starting my own and who knows...maybe someone will get something out of this. If not then fuck it, it helped me learn to type faster.

Kat Williams:Pimpadelic

So, who's a fan of Kat Williams? I know I am. He is a great comedian along the same caliber as Dave Chappelle. If you don't like Chappelle then you can stop reading now.

Ive seen a lot of Kat Williams DVD's, some hit and some miss. The DVD goes back and forth between him talking to the camera while he is on tour driving in a limo and then back to him doing a show somewhere in Washington. Some of the comedy he does is recycles from previous Kat Williams performances but as always, its damned funny.

I find him talking to the camera to be a nice touch because you get to see the real Kat and his thoughts on life and comedy and pretty much everything in between.

Now the question. Is the DVD worth buying? Well, its worth renting or at least trying to watch it on youtube. Me personally...I dont really have enough money to do anything but write blogs on the internet.

It gets a thumbs up from me

I normally don't check out television shows while they are actually airing. By that, I mean I usually wait until a season is over and then watch the whole thing at once. I made an exception because I was bored at work. Anyhow..

Have you ever seen the beginning of Lost, season 1 episode 1? You know, the big plane crash with havoc going on everywhere and you have no idea what is going on. That's how this show starts out...almost. Instead its cars, piled up on a freeway somewhere with havoc and you have no idea what is going on.

Without giving too many spoilers, episode 1 shows how everyone on the planet has blacked out at the exact same time and then wakes up 2 minutes and 17 seconds later. Also during that time, they have vivid dreams or as we later find out they seem to be a glimpse into the future.

I like this show so far. Yeah, I have only seen the first episode but it has a lot going for it. A good cast, good writing(so far), and a prime time slot. Only time will tell if this survives. Id basically say its a cross between Lost and Fringe since it does seem to be another cop show.

It gets my thumbs up for now.
